The American Psychological Association took this step last year and the measure is expected to pass the American Psychiatric Association vote easily. This is extremely exciting news coming from the same entities that just thirty years ago considered homosexuality a disease.
Kudos to both APA's for their progressive stance on the right side of this issue. Now let's start working on the AMA.
