So it struck me today to look back at the archives to see when I changed bilerico.com over into a blog from a tattoo/personal website. We just missed our one year anniversary! On September 25th we welcomed the new format with a Quote of the Day from Margaret Mead: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

So it makes me wonder, how things have changed and how they've stayed the same. We've kept the same template basically, although we did move to three columns instead of two. Hopefully, I'll be able to complete the oft-promised remodel soon... Our hits have gone up dramatically. Most of our hits from outside the US came from Italy. They still do. But instead of the 4 hits we got our first day, we got 1192 a year later.

So if you're a regular reader, leave a comment and tell us Happy Anniversary. We've been doing this daily for a year now. Show us some love! :)

I first heard of bilerico about 3 years ago when someone from a church discussion group I was in brought in some writing from your site as a discussion point. The points you made were spot on, and the site's name was unique so it stuck in my memory.I was really glad to finally meet you and jerame and paige in person this year. Happy anniversary to bilerico!
