I'd like to thank everyone for their kind words (about myself, fellow bilerico contributor Linda Perdue, and the Indiana Equality Region 8 team) concerning the passage of Proposition 622. The work on the HRO took a lot of personal investment and energy. I've taken a few days off from everything but Christmas shopping and cleaning my house as well as the opportunity to catch up on two other important personal issues - romance and sleep! *grins*

I thought I'd post some links to some of the HRO media that I didn't post throughout the week. After Christmas posts will continue regularly.

December 19 - WISH TV (8-CBS)
Council to Vote on Police Merger, Human Rights Ordinance
(I have a quote in this story!)

December 19 - Indianapolis Star lead editorial

December 19 - Indianapolis Star

December 19 - WTHR TV (13-NBC)
Human rights, police merger pass on second try
(I got a quote in this one, but it's unattributed - I'm just "a supporter.")

December 20 - WISH TV (8-CBS)
Human Rights Ordinance Passes
(Not only do I get a quote in this one - I got a picture on the website with Councilors! Good photo too!)

December 20 - WRTV 6 (ABC)
Indy Approves Anti-Discrimination Ordinance

December 20 - Indianapolis Star
Merged police force, gay rights approved

December 21 - Indianapolis Star
