Could I Be More American Right Now?

I just got back from a rally in support of freedom of religion, during which free citizens spoke, the free press listened, and law enforcement stood by and let everyone say their piece.

On the way back to the office, I swung by McDonald's, and now I'm chowing on a Quarter Pounder meal that cost $5 and was served to me in, literally, 15 seconds. This is why we fight, folks.

So, free speech, free press, and fair law enforcement-- not worth fighting for in your estimation? I wouldn't have thought that anyone on either side of the aisle would have had such a horrified response to my statement. Surely you recognized that the Quarter Pounder comment was tongue-in-cheek and willfully misunderstood it. Also, it's polite to throw a sister a link when you talk the junk.

Sorry, I honestly didn't see the "tongue-in-cheek". I apologize.
