It is 5:30 A.M. my eyes keep telling me that they really need to close, right now. Last night Adodi Muse were delightful and a good time was had by all. Now the big day is here. A year of work and hope and it looks like the weather will be clear. Soon I will be at the park, with my Black Pride family, for a day that will not end until 2:00 A.M. after the Martha Wash concert-party at the Egyptian Room in the Murat. I hope to see everyone at Watkins Park today and at the party tonight.
Tomorrow morning, there is a special Indiana Black Pride worship service and soul food pitch in at Jesus MCC. I heartily recommend it, even for people who usually avoid church.
