As we've implemented a new "Comments" method due to the huge amount of spam comments we've been getting, I thought I should remind bilerico.com readers of how the new system works... (By the way - the new system has cut down the spam comments to only about 20 a day as versus the 200-300 a day we were getting!)

We use TypeKey now to verify comments to the site. You can sign up for TypeKey by clicking on the "Sign In" link above each comments section. TypeKey is a free authentication service that lets you sign-in to your favorite websites and verify your identity. If you don't sign in to TypeKey before posting your comment to bilerico.com, your comment will be held for moderation (I'll have to approve it before it gets posted to the site). However, if you sign in with TypeKey you can leave any ole comment you like on here - and you don't have to wait for someone to read and approve it. Plus, once you sign-in with bilerico, you shouldn't have to sign-in again - it should keep your information.

I apologize that we've had to resort to such a nuisance as signing in to leave comments, but the huge amount of spam for Viagra, porn sites, and miracle diets have forced us to this. :( Please do all of us here at bilerico a favor and create a TypeKey account (which works for other popular local sites like Taking Down Words!) so we can get back to business as usual.
