There are few politicians that I despise more than John Hostettler. I wasn't as politically savvy when he was first elected. I had just moved to Bloomington from Evansville (the area where Hostettler is from). I remember that I was so glad I didn't live in Evansville anymore - that jerk wouldn't be representing me! That is, until I found out that Bloomington - halfway across the state - was still in that district. (They've since changed the districts and they're not in the same one anymore...) I remember when the boob told the press that people should be able to have nukes in the backyard since we had the right to bear arms... *sigh* Not a bright bulb, our Johnny. Thankfully, Democratic challenger Brad Ellsworth is currently up in the polls.
