"I have very strong feelings about how you lead your life. You always look ahead, you never look back." -- Ann Richards 1933-2006
And she never did. Rest in peace, Ann.

Thanks for posting this Bil. I just saw on Yahoo that Ann Richards died. She was one amazing lady!
"You can't blame George. He was born with a silver foot in his mouth."
I was at the Demo Convention when she spoke those words. Hilarious.
Had the chance to meet her several times. A true gritty lady.
Heaven just got a little feistier today.
Ann Richards was the kind of woman who belies the whole "women are not atrong enough to run the world." She was one tough lady-- like to see what SHE woulda done in the War on Tara...
I always respected her ability to take a stand-- based on information-- and be witty while FLAYING her opponents. We need more like her!
"The here and now is all we have, and if we play it right it's all we'll need." Ann Richards
RIP, you played the right brillantly ...
