When was the last time you helped out in the fight against AIDS? Whether it's dropping off a donation of food or other usable items to the Damien Center or writing out a check, it's just not enough. We're all not doing enough - people are still dying.
I'm proud to announce that Greater Indianapolis Fairness Alliance (GIFA), Indiana Action Network (IAN), Indiana Transgender Rights Advocacy Alliance (INTRAA), and Indianapolis Parents, Family and Friends of Gays and Lesbians (PFLAG) are joining together to form the "United Against AIDS" team for the Indiana AIDS Walk. The walk is being held on Sunday, October 15 at University Park in downtown Indianapolis. Registration starts at 11am and the walk kicks off at 2pm. (There's also a bike ride!)
If you would like to join United Against AIDS or give a donation to the AIDS Walk, please click here. You can choose to either make a team donation or donate to a specific walker if you know them. Or, best of all, you can choose to walk with us! Come join the team or make a donation!
Let's help our organizations in giving back to the community. It's not about any of our separate groups - it's about being United Against AIDS.
