From October 25 to November 16, the Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center will present the 2006 Ann Katz Festival of Books. This is a community-wide celebration of books, movies and music, featuring authors on varying topics.

On Sunday, November 5th at 7:30 p.m. there will be a mini film festival, featuring 3 films. The 3rd film showing is titled "Bubbeh Lee & Me". It is an American film produced in 1996 and directed by Andy Abrahams Wilson. The description reads:

"Just imagine what can happen when a gay filmmaker visits his feisty Jewish grandmother in Florida. Somehow during their event-filled trips to the supermarket, their two worlds collide and the strength of their bond emerges."

I plan on being there so I hope you will join me!

P.S. - Bubbeh means Grandma in Yiddish.
