ltu-734007.jpgI was going to save this for December 1st, but I just can't. I have to tell you now while you can still make a difference. We all know someone who has either already passed or is currently struggling with HIV/AIDS. I, personally, have a few exes and friends that are fighting the battle.

Bristoll-Myers Squibb is currently sponsoring a World AIDS Day webpage where you can (virtually) light a candle in memory of those how have passed from AIDS. For every candle that's lit, they will donate $1 to the National AIDS Fund (up to $100,000). Currently there are almost 55,000 candles lit.

$100,000 is chump change for Bristoll-Myers Squibb. Let's help ensure that they give the maximum amount. Go visit. Light a candle. Read some of the stories by clicking on other lit candles and remember your own mortality and weaknesses while reflecting on the struggle your loved ones went through. It's a couple of clicks for a worthy cause.

If you feel like sharing some of the stories of your loved ones, by all means do so. If enough folks leave their stories, I might be persuaded to tell about my ex-lover that came back from the dead. Now that's a story.
