Polling Places Stay Open Late in Delaware County

Polling places in Delaware County will remain open until 8:40pm tonight rather than closing at 6pm. Delaware County Circuit Court Wayne Lennington ordered the extension after discovering that the voting machines in the county did not function properly until 8:30 am this morning and that many precincts had run out of backup paper ballots, meaning that many early morning voters in Delaware County had no way to vote.
