You may have already seen this video on other sites. I got the press release on Monday for it, but, well, other issues have come up. *grins*

If you haven't seen it, watch it. McCain is a tool that will say anything to get elected. Both Jerame and I lost all respect for him after the primary campaign in 2000. Bush went around spreading all kinds of rumors about McCain - including that he had a mixed race illegitimate child. A few months later there's McCain at campaign stops hugging and rubbing up against Bush like a go-go boy after a dollar bill.

The three minute short reveals the Senator's flip flopping on key issues such as the Iraq War, Gay Marriage and the Religious Right. The film uses McCain's own words to destroy the myth of the Senator as a "straight talking" politician. John McCain Vs. John McCain shows the Senator as politician prone to frequent contradictions on key issues. The website TheRealMccain.com is home to the video and a blog about the Senator.

"This short illustrates, that John McCain is not a 'straight talker' but a double talker. As a filmmaker and concerned American, I felt it was important to reveal this side of John McCain since this aspect of his leadership has not been portrayed in the press" said the film's director Robert Greenwald. Way to go Robert. Way to go.
