What to expect

With all of the changes we are making over here on the back end, I thought it might be good to let readers know what they can expect for the next little while...

First, you might have noticed that some of our categories have changed a tad. They now reflect our commitment to bringing you the best LGBT coverage possible - from entertainment news and gossip to women's issues - from political coverage to gay icons and history. If you have a suggestion for a topic we don't have listed yet, feel free to leave it in the comments section.

Secondly, we're going to start having some regular features. Every day I will be posting a "Quote of the Day," a political cartoon, and a "You Gotta See This" post. YGST will be replacing the old "Linkalicious" category. Instead of combining a bunch of different interesting links in one post every week or so, I'll be giving you one link a day that I think you shouldn't miss.

We will also be having weekly polls so you can sound off on different issues. Look for polls on Mondays. They will stay open till Friday night at midnight - results will be published on Saturdays.

Lastly, we have set up some new e-mail addresses for the site. If you have a tip on a story we should be covering, please send us a note at tips@bilerico.com. If you'd like to send a press release, please use press@bilerico.com. Those e-mail addresses will be listed on the new site in a prominent place - don't worry about remembering them. (With all the press releases I'm getting anymore, I needed to set up a different account so they didn't get mixed in with business and personal e-mail.)

I hope you enjoy the changes we are implementing. Look for more changes soon. If anyone knows a good graphic artist willing to work cheaply (read: free or darn close), please ask them to contact me.
