Not to give them any more attention than they deserve, the Phelps clan has been sending hate faxes to the Swedish royal family:

A spokesman for Sweden's royals has confirmed that American preacher Rev Fred Phelps has been faxing hate messages to them. [...]

"You're doomed to spend eternity in hell," Phelps is alleged to have said in one of the fax messages. "All you Swedes and your Swedish king and his family." [...]

"I know that this is happening all the time. There have been strange faxes containing all sorts of terms of abuse."

We've all known that the Westboro people have hated Sweden for a while because of Ake Green, a preacher who was charged with hate speech while preaching about the gays. He was let off on appeal, and he wasn't just preaching from the Bible, he was being a Swedish version of, well, Fred Phelps.

But that's not the point. The point is how funny this is. They're getting a bunch of hate faxes, even though the Swedish royal family has no power when it comes to things like hate speech cases, and there are so many other instances of pro-gay governmental actions throughout the world.

I'd still like to be a fly on the wall when the King or Queen's Royal Fax Answerer has to read about how God hates Sweden so He sent the 12/26 tsunami.
