RuPaul's "Supermodel":
In her own words in NY Tix:
Well, we're born naked and the rest is drag. Drag is whatever you wear - however you choose to represent yourself through clothing. So there's different types of drag. There's men who do drag like Elvis, Dennis Rodman, Michael Jackson, and women too like Zsa Zsa Gabor, LaToyah Jackson and Dolly Parton. What they do can be considered drag. I'm glamour drag.

Good ole Ru Paul... Those were the days. But talk about going from Indy music to pop mainstream... I think you popped out of your American Idol snob self there for a moment. *grins*
So when do we get Mika or Scissor Sisters? :)

Yo, the AI folks shouldn't be saying anything about the rest of us not liking RuPaul - she wouldn't even make it past the first audition on AI even tho she's awesome. I've been a RuPaul fan ever since I first saw her on Oprah (yes, I watched oprah when I was a kid). I think she's avant-garde enuf for me to like her - can I get a hear hear?
Yeah, I've got a long list of queer artists to get thru, and if anyone has suggestions I'll just add them on. No need to repeat for a long time. Scissor sisters in a while, but is mika out?
These are all very important questions, because an appearance on FNFQM can make or break a music career. For reals.
