We glean from the myriads of news stories floating around the world: That a group of ROTC super-patriots (and one full-fledged soldier in uniform) -- all associated wtih Jerry Falwell's super-patriot, super-Christian, flag-waving Liberty University -- conspired to make bombs and kill WBC's saints as they were picketing peacefully and lawfully near the funeral of Jerry Falwell on Tuesday, May 22. Thanks only to the Providential protection of our Sovereign God, the plot was foiled, the ring-leader - 19-year-old LU freshman ROTC student, Mark David Uhl - was arrested, and the hunt is on for the other co-conspirators. We predict little will be done, notwithstanding the gravity of the crime and the laws that were violated.[...] Fag America is doomed.
--The Westboro Baptist Church, in a press release, responding to reports that a student at Liberty University had made bombs he intended to throw at protestors of Falwell's funeral
