To follow up on yesterday's post about Giuliani's past contributions to Planned Parenthood, it's now confirmed by the Romney campaign that Mitt's wife--not Mitt himself, mind you, but his wife Ann--made a $150 contribution to Planned Parenthood in 1994.
Romney's not only thrown his wife to the media wolves, he's written a $15,000 check to Massachusetts Citizens for Life (MCFL) and Ann is now serving as chair of the group's capital campaign. MCFL is against not just abortion but also birth control, sex education, euthanasia, stem cell research, and even same-sex marriage. And a capital campaign indicates that they're building--probably more "crisis pregnancy centers" designed to scare and indoctrinate young women.
$15,000 and who knows how many new brainwashing centers, all to atone for a measley $150 his wife donated 13 years ago?
Pay attention, Rudy. THAT'S the way to spin if you're going to get anywhere in a GOP primary.

And he gets bonus douchebag points for throwing his wife under the bus and not his ex-wife as Rudy G. could have.
Will the religious right see through this? Mitt's already got the Ann Coulter stamp of approval, but Rudy got Newt's.
