bill-772852.jpgAnd IU study found that Mr. No Spin Zone uses a derogatory name once every seven seconds. And that he's really fond of the propaganda techniques, and that he's really, really biased. Conservatively, although he claims to be an independent.

This, of course, comes as no surprise to any thinking American. But here's the kicker:

The same techniques were used during the late 1930s to study another prominent voice in a war-era, Father Charles Coughlin. His sermons evolved into a darker message of anti-Semitism and fascism, and he became a defender of Hitler and Mussolini. In this study, O'Reilly is a heavier and less-nuanced user of the propaganda devices than Coughlin.
And Fox News is "fair and balanced"? Ummmm, yeah.
