Mika may be the one celebrity with even more "Is he out? Is he in?" sexuality questions than Anderson Cooper. The singer flatly refuses to answer any questions about his sexuality.

The video for his new single came out recently. The song is one I picked up on immediately when I heard the album. In an age of body issues, it's refreshing to hear a song called "Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)". According to me-me-me.tv, when they asked the songbird if he preferred big girls, he replied, "Well, my mum's big. And my auntie."

So here's to all the big girls reading the site. Be proud of yourself. You are beautiful.

While it's definitely worth remembering that large women have always been beautiful, with or without any man's say-so... I really enjoy this vid. Especially the last minute or so where they're just dancing around at the end, having a blast, totally confident. CONFIDENT. Something mainstream culture so often tries to shame us out of, and they're out there shakin' it like there's no tomorrow. Now THAT is beautiful.

Midgetqueen, you're totally right, beauty is and has to be held in our own eyes (screw some external "beholder")-- what a catchy little tune and fun little video, and hopefully it'll help somebody out there open her own eyes.

I think Queen nailed it - there's nothing wrong whatsoever with being confident in yourself and your body. You don't have to be a skinny super model to be sexy and hot.

It's not MIKA's best song, but the tune is catchy and the video has a positive message. All pluses, if you'll pardon the pun.
