Tiny Toons cheer me up

Ever wake up with such a bad case of the blahs that you knew you had to do something immediately to cheer yourself up? Yeah, that's this morning for me.

When I was a kid (okay, young adult is more like it!), I loved Tiny Toons. But what gives? Why isn't there a DVD set of "classic" Tiny Toons yet? The Animaniacs have their own set, the Simpsons DVDs come out like clockwork, and even the Pink Panther is available. The only place to find Tiny Toons now is on YouTube.

Anyhow, it cheered me up some. Hope it has the same effect on you - if you're down maybe it'll pick you up. If you're already having a great day, I hope this adds to it.

Which leads to today's open thread - What do you do to cheer yourself up? What makes you feel better automatically?

It's this dreary weather I think- I could go for a chai grande from Borders before they partnered with Seattle's Worst Coffee. Oh, how I miss it...

A fresh, just out of the oven chocolate chip cookie or ice cream with chocolate syrup and nuts do wonders. Unfortunately, I have used these for too many years so that now it takes a massive quanitity of each to have any impact at all.

To my surprise, I have found IF (big if) I go to the gym and do cardio for a longer period of time than normal or do an extra set of weights, that after I am done and cleaned up, my mind is in a much better place.

I go to work if I'm particularly depressed.

Gotta love the dogs.

1. Listen to music
2. Masturbate
3. Get free junk somehow (my neighborhood Kroger is good for that)
4. Irony, irony, irony

What do you do for a living, Eric? You may have said before, but I've forgotten.

Kelly's suggestion sounds great - coffee and a bookstore would cheer me up. (Can't do chai - I'm allergic to cloves!) David's advice is one I'd follow actually. I had a bowl of ice cream with choc syrup and peanuts last night as a snack. LOL

I ended up playing the piano for about an hour, cruising the web for a while and taking a nap to try and shake off the blahs today.
