I had three mildly successful albums, no big hit until my fourth record. That’s unheard of these days. Can you imagine a record company hanging in with an artist for three records and no hit? They’d cut them loose.

Hey, Alex, after what that gal has been through, I'm just glad to see that Melissa has hair again! ... and I only hope to God it is her real hair!

There's the Queen Mary, there's the Mineshaft, and then there's that research project about which way your hair whorls rotate ... but Melissa is the greatest LGBT phenomenon to ever come out of Long Beach, California!
