Have you seen the Levi's commercial where the sexy guy is putting on his jeans and the phone booth pops up thru his floor with a cute girl inside? Did you know Levi's also made a gay version with a another guy zooming up in the phone booth to flirt with the guy putting on his pants? (Although we all know if this were true to life those pants would be coming back down again in a heartbeat!)
Levi's Marketing VP Robert Cameron said that the idea came from a tight ad budget but took on a life of it's own. "At first it made us parse the thought of, what does that say? We're not spending as much money as we ought to do a dedicated commercial for the gay market. But [then] we thought, if we're going to do an ad for them, they deserve the same production values. ... So doing the same commercial with different endings seemed to us to be a message about absolute equality."

I feel a far-right boycott coming on.

To be truly daring they would 1) have shown the men walking off hand in hand and 2) shown this one on TV in states like Indiana.

Or shown some cock. I wanted to see some cock.
Oh, wait, what does that have to do with the politics of this?
