Here are a few interesting stories about GOP presidential candidates (no wonder Alan Keyes sees an opening).
First, some wonderful people have found a wonderful 2002 poster of Mitt Romney wishing us all a great Pride (found via Queerty).
The guy will say anything to get elected, won't he?
That's OK, he's in got a whole lot more money than the other candidates and I'm sure he'll give all the people who support his run huge tax breaks. I mean, what's the point of running for president if you can't act like a rock star?

I swear, I remember the guy showing up at a Pride Parade when he was running against Kennedy for Senator.
Maybe it was just his Log Cabin boys, but... having lived in Boston for over twenty years, and going to Pride most of those years, my memory isn't perfect but...
I remember thinking, this guy is MORMON. Mormon's do NOT accept that homosexuality even exists. How can anyone believe this load of crap?
and he was prochoice, too. No question.
YUH.
So the entire State of Massachussets was fooled by his fabulous hair- kinda goes with the Kennedy facination- let's hope the rest of the country is smarter.

Oops. Nice try. Vague flyer. You forgot to mention it was 1994 and gays weren't pushing for marriage. They were pushing for equality. And Romney fully supported equality in the workplace, job advancement, positions held etc. He appointed and hired gays to his staff positions, and his committees. He has always maintained that marriage is between a man and a woman only. Gay marriage didn't come out til LATER, a LOT LATER. No changed positions by Romney. And by the way. Gays have an average of 48 sexual partners per year. Gay marriage is not practical.

You seriously spend nights trolling on gay websites just to support your man Mitt, Shawnie?
The flyer was submitted by a Mass. resident and he says that he was handed it at Pride in 2002. The original posting is here.
Also, he ran with Kerry Healey for guv in 2002, see here.
Check your facts before you go trolling on an LGBTQ site just to insult people. How many sexual partners do you have each year? Are we going to start asking people that on their marriage apps? What's the number that makes it OK? (BTW, where'd you get your number there, Nazi fan Paul Cameron?)
And if Mitt's so pro-gay, then why didn't he agree to go to the HRC sponsored presidential forum? He snubbed them, like he's snubbed Hispanics and Blacks. Dude has his mind on one thing and one thing only.
Gawsh. We can't even have this space on the internet.

DAMN! where the hell have I been? gosh, I guess that would be MARRIED. In MASSACHUSETTS where the divorce rate has gone DOWN since gay people have been allowed to marry.
Did you pull that statistic out of your ass? or did Jerry Falwell whisper it to you from the great beyond?
Romney is a ego driven idiot who has run this states financial reserves into the ground. Don't get me started about what he's done to the education system in this state... He never cared about being governor- only about being president some day.

'Cuz, you know, in 1992 no queers wanted to get married. We just sat around and thought, "No sir. We're not as good as straight people."
Oh, and Shawnie, I love your statistic. I have one for you too! 98% of people who quote statistics without any source to back them up are just making up the numbers.
