I have all of these great links saved up that aren't long enough for their own posts, so I thought I'd toss 'em at you this morning for some linkety fun.

  • Be sure to check out Monkey Law. Brad, the cartoonist behind this spectacular strip, was the winner of my celebrity judging gig and I'm considering asking him to join our line-up here on the site. Let me know if you'd like to see more of Brad here at TBP. The current storyline about the two gay monkeys adopting a Chinese baby is really funny.
  • Queerty has a post about the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary president's thoughts on Episcopalian Bishop Gene Robinson. You can feel the love of Christ in every drip of venom:

Robinson may now claim his office as the Episcopal Bishop of New Hampshire, but his real claim to fame will be as the theologian-in-residence of the Church of Sodom and Gomorrah.

  • Peace through porn? Seems Israeli porn stars are popular in the Arabic world. Salman Rushdie explains:

"Pornography exists everywhere, of course, but when it comes into societies in which it's difficult for young men and women to get together and do what young men and women often like doing, it satisfies a more general need; and, while doing so, it sometimes becomes a kind of standard-bearer for freedom, even for civilization," Rushdie wrote.

Salman Rushdie sucks lemons across from me/And I am progressing abominably/And I do not know my own way to the sea/But the saltiest sea knows its own way to me

*ahem* It's interesting that he'd call it a "standard bearer for freedom". Interesting. I wonder what he's into? I'm thinking Latino bisexual barebacking porn. Sounds about right.
