Republican Mayor of San Diego, Jerry Sanders, was expected to veto an ordinance in support of gay marriage. Instead, he had a change of heart. This is actually from September of 2007, not recently. It doesn't, however, change the message, nor the intention, nor the heart of Jerry Sanders who has recently and publicly supported no on prop 8.
