Holy cow! It's still early and my inbox is overflowing with birthday wishes. Today I turn 35. I am firmly planted in middle age now.
For those of you who have written and asked what happened to the link to my Amazon wish list, I can only say, "It's not just my site anymore. And who has room for 40 wish lists?!" *grins* Instead, I have a better idea.
So far for the Indiana AIDS Walk I've raised a big fat goose egg. I've not had time to really promote it like I did last year, but that's no excuse. Folks living with HIV/AIDS here in Indiana can't use my excuses, but they can use your help. So instead of getting me another CD or book, how about putting that cash where not only do I get the pleasure of a gift, but the money will actually be put to good use? If every visitor to the site today gave me 50 cents for each year I've been around, think of how much money we'd make for a good cause. $17.50 - less than a yuppie food stamp (the $20 bill) - can do a world of good.
Won't you sponsor me in the AIDS Walk? Don't do it for my birthday - do it to make life a tiny bit better for someone else. Pay it forward.
