Mara Keisling, Executive Director of the National Center for Transgender Equality, is reporting that we now have over 300 organizations on board on the United ENDA list (though the list on the site needs to be updated), and Congress is taking notice! She also reports that there were 75-100 transgender activists and allies in attendance at last night's protest of the HRC dinner honoring Nancy Pelosi in Washington DC, and very impactful concurrent vigil in the Castro in San Francisco!
Boys, girls, everyone else, it's working! Please, if you haven't already, add your name to the No Substitutes petition and help us bring this effort home!
Back in 2004, it was just myself, Ethan St. Pierre and a relative handful of others who were speaking out on transgender inclusion in ENDA. We considered it a major victory when our fight got coverage in NYC's Gay City News, the Advocate, and a few minutes on Sirius OutQ. This time, I've long since lost track of how many different media outlets where this is being talked about and the number of supporters who have joined with us to demand equal justice and treatment under the law.
Thank you to everyone, and please, keep up the fight! With your help and support, we will succeed TOGETHER!

It would be great to have a political organization with backbone.
