As Bil posted earlier, I've gone and moved to Saint Etienne, France. I'm in a McDonald's right now - the only place in this city with free wifi - and I just checked up on the site. There have been lots of guest posts and interesting things to discuss and even a new contributor; I think I can trust the content on this site to Bil, Jerame, and the other contributors for a couple of weeks.
Of course, I happened to have left during an interesting time to blog, what with the ENDA being split into GENDA and SPLENDA (whoever came up with those names is awesome), more and more Larry Craig drama happening, and another post from Bil about his god damn obsession with corn dog porn. They're some pretty deep discussions about the direction we LGBT/Queer people are going with our movements over the next few years (well, not the last one), and it'd be great to be caught up and fully participating in this discussion. Oh, well.
I'm still waiting out the installation of internet in my apartment here, which should happen this week. Until then, McDonald's is my main line to communicate with the motherland.

Alex! You swore you'd never talk about the pictures I took of you! *laughs*
I hope you're settling in to the new digs. I know how much the vegetarian must love going to McDonalds to blog...

Worse yet, according to a piece I saw on NBC within the past couple of days, France, in which is has been a longtime mystery as to how women especially can eat but not gain weight, is now struggling with obesity. The news said that the French Government had banned ads for fast-food restaurant (so much for freedom fries). I also heard by the grapevine that Alex was forced to leave his big orange "Q" outside the door. Trans-Atlantic travel just isn't what it used to be!
