While we usually announce new contributors on Fridays, we held off on this one since the ENDA controversy was so hot and dominating everything. I didn't want you to miss this announcement!
Andrea Hildebran will be joining the Project as our newest contributor. Andrea is the former Executive Director of Kentucky Fairness Alliance and is a writer and activist with 17 years experience in legal, legislative and grassroots advocacy, non-profit management, as well as ballot measure and candidate campaigns.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrea on a ballot campaign in Houston some years back. She is incredibly smart and committed. It will be great to have her aboard the Bilerico train.

Bil and Alex, I'm glad you found someone to cover the Louisville scene --- although I have not had the privilege to work with Andrea, I see her name frequently in the KFA publicity, and I am sure that she has the contacts necessary to report from that area well.

I'd feel remiss if I didn't point out that Andrea no longer lives in Kentucky. She now lives in Florida.
But she's still just as great as ever! *grins*

Congrats, Bil -- you scored a winner -- and welcome, Andrea, to our lively bunch. I don't know about how covered we have Kentucky but I think we've now got the Defense Tech corridor covered from the Space Coast to its westernmost point.
