Dear Darren
Fisrt off i just want to state tht you are an insperation to me' and to all people who belive in human rights. My name is Allon, im 18 years old and I live in Israel. I will soon be joining the IDF speacial figthing unit Golani, which is a suprieor anti-terroist unit in the IDF. as the law requiers i must join the army and i am more then happy and willing to apply. But what i fear is the react of people in the army when they find out im gay. Ive been throw a ruogh time after i told my parents, and seeing someone as brave as you come out as say that there is nothing wrong with being gay jst touches me. While writing this lines im sheding my tears in hopes that i wont be afraid anymore to live the truth. Should i hide myself or come clean?
Thank you so much' and hope you the best
allon.
