The Human Rights Campaign has just released its 2008 list of Best Places to Work for LGBT People. 195 corporations were named to the list and will be able to use the 2008 "Best Places to Work for GLBT Equality" seal to show that they are a fair-minded employer.

The seal is given to companies who score a perfect 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index which measures policies and practices implemented to promote fairness and equality in the workplace for GLBT employees. Think of it as a kind of Good Housekeeping seal of approval for The Gays.

The list includes a range of companies from industries that you would expect to have strong policies supporting LGBT employees like entertainment and electronic media and hotels, resorts and casinos and industries that would not be expected to have progressive employee polices including aerospace and defense and oil and gas.

Personally, I think I have the best place to work for an LGBT person. I'm self-employed. *grins*

I wonder what rating the 100% trans-free Human Rights Campaign would get? If they applied their own standards to themselves?
