Hillary Clinton Talks About Preventing LGBT Youth Suicide

Hillary Clinton took out some time to answer some questions from young voters sent in via email, Twitter, Facebook etc. including a question about preventing suicide among LGBT youth. The question and Clinton's answer comes about 3:22 into the clip.
Kudos to Clinton for answering that question in particular. As Dustin pointed out in a post yesterday, there are a lot of important LGBT issues that the presidential candidates are not talking about.

The *question* was about LGBT suicide.
The *answer* from HRC's HRC only used the word "gay."
And then there was the inserted clip from the guy who yammered about how well HRC's HRC understands and works for LGBT people.
I heard no *T* (or B) from Hillary.

The solicitation of questions is part of Clinton's outreach to young voters. That's why Emily Hawkins, director of youth outreach for the Clinton campaign, was asking the questions.
Even if Clinton did not use "LGBT," the person asking the question did.
Its a clip promoting Clinton's candidacy, so "the guy who yammered about how well HRC's HRC understands and works for LGBT people" fits.
So, what's your point?

And I doubt you ever will, Kat. We just don't represent enough money or votes to be on Clinton's radar, nor will we ever.
Just take a look at her campaign staff, including Barney Frank, and her LGBT steering committee, with 3/4 of the HRC Executive Board, and you know the kind of "LGBT" politics she favors.

I like that girl at about 3 minutes in. Obama might be transcending politics, but Hillary's "transcending, like, lame politics."

Totally non-responsive? She talked about the internet! Everyone knows the reason there are too few small town jobs is lack of internet access, solve that, save the small towns.

She certainly gave the Religious Right ammunition in her response, after all, their answer is to send our youth to "reparative therapy." It was more direct than Obama's gentle chiding of the Black community for homophobia.
That said, I remain uneasy with her vacuous responses on the war, on DADT and her previousl association with DOMA.
But, my dear sisters and brothers, we did this to ourselves. The Dems know that we will not deny frontrunners our votes and will not support those who support our agenda if they are longshots, even as a statement of protest.
Kucinich is gone. His numbers would have been better if we had actually, as a community, supported him and helped him to keep our issues in the forefront of the dialogue.

Speaking of Hillary Clinton:
