"If I was, why hide it? It's not as if the music business would be an odd place for a gay man to work. And anyway, if I was trying to hide the fact that I was gay, I would be off playing rugby every Saturday, wouldn't I?"
-- American Idol judge Simon Cowell in an interview with Britain's Daily Mail

Simon, gay men love rugby! Just think about the showers after the game, girlfriend!
I often wonder what human need is actually satisfied by the act of stereo-typing. People are different. Why can't that just be accepted?
If Cowell is straight man, his strong preference for sex with women is all that is necessary to define that orientation. He could be a florist or a beautician or rugby player.
Bottom line, it just doesn't matter. The only thing that is sad is when an individual denies their own orientation for the sake of societal acceptance.
