I had a wonderful experience of being in a panel discussion with Kim Pearson at the Colorado Gold Rush on Saturday, February 23rd. In my book, she is nothing short of heroic. Those of us in the room, used the better part of a box of kleenex during the seminar. For the readers and contributors out there, please help, and ask your friends to help, and have their friends help. You can help Kim makes the lives of trans kids so much better if you do. Please. They have no big grants to help them. Everything they do is from out of pocket. They really need your help right now. It's easy. Just go to www.imatyfa.org. You'll make a difference in some child's life. That way, we won't have gender variant kids committing suicide at age 10, as recently happened in the UK.
