Where does the right dig up these asshats? Dr. Lyle Rossiter is cited by WingNutDaily as a "top psychiatrist" who is a board-certified forensic psychiatrist with medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago. He makes a diagnosis of liberalism as a mental disorder.
Is there any data to support this conclusion? In his book The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness," Rossiter lobs beauties like this without any evidence other than his feeble opinion to back his claims:
Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by the two major candidates for the Democratic Party presidential nomination can only be understood as a psychological disorder.
...Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:
* creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
* satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
* augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
* rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.
Ah, yes. We have a little fun project here. We can do "science" just as well as this purveyor of poppycock.
Finish this statement in the comments (and have fun with it):

You know, sometimes I think we're nuts too - just from the way we eat our own!

Adolph Hitler was a liberal?
I thought conservatives were the ones who wanted to do things they way they were done 60 years ago, back in the good old days. These nostalgic feelings are somehow "mentally healthy?"
Always having a superior attitude of "My way or the highway," is a good thing?
No. I don't think so.
