Here's the fashion show scene from True Stories, where the people of Virgil, Texas, celebrated the folly of the hyper-reality. I love this movie, but I've only watched it about 120 times!

It is interesting to think of this scene in terms of gender performance. It is super campy out of context, something you don't really pick up on in the film.
