Loco Mama is funny!

It was not as vulgar or filled with profanity as most HATG DRAG comics so often portray, yet I do not see the humor. If it is to mock and make fun of the transgender, then, it is repugnant. If it is in fact a transgender individual, and they are thinking it is funny, well not, it is still repugnant.
Fact is that this does nothing but demean and debase the real needs of a suffering community. And to my sensibilties it is repugnant because the Bilerico Project has shown disregard and their low class view of the Transgender. Worse they have contributed to making life all the more difficult for some of us who have to live everyday under the social hammer.
Life is not funny for those who cannot hide, or are forced to hide. It is not funny when simply walking into a doctor's office, or grocery, will draw smirks and laughs. It is not funny, not the skit or the inuendo made; it is repugnant.
Thank you so much for being honest and showing the same values that Barney Frank and Joe Solmonese have for the Transgender.

Look, I have to reply to SW now. I think your comment is a bit much here. Loco Mama isn't trans, she's a drag queen. And drag queens are awesome.
Seriously, I don't know what I'd do if the trans movement went like the Religious Right and the radfem movements and became anti-drag queen in general. So I'm just going to assume that it's one commenter:
Thanks for sharing your opinion that posting a vid of a drag queen singing on a blog is the equivalent of supporting a sexual orientation only ENDA and pushing the movement to trans rights back several decades. Good luck with that and I hope it makes sense to someone!

I know you do not get it! It is not funny…..
However, every time a HAG DRAG show is performed it is the same, and has the same effect, as did the tar baby and black face skits that were so common not too long ago. I can remember the news photos of blacks hanging from trees and a joking caption. Yet, you can look back a month ago in LA news papers to see Latinos killing several blacks for no other reason than hatred and bigotry. In fact it is as repulsive as are the gay comedies that in sighted the bashing that resulted in the deaths of several noted which led to the hate crime enactment. There are enough sites with statistics. But who cares about some twisted creep in a dress? Who gives a crap about someone who has lost everything, their family, job, and friends? It is repugnant to think that someone can make fun of a group of people who for all of their worth, perhaps, can do no better than the gay comic seen in the video.
I know you do not get it!
It is not about politics, religion, or anything other than the continuation of doing things which degrade others. It is about treating others in a way to take away their worth and place of equality. It is about promoting a sub-class which can be made a target for the hateful to exploit. It is about using one’s status and position to abuse others.
I know you do not get it!
Let me shout now..…..
HOW MANY TRANSGENDER KIDS WILL HAVE TO BE SHOT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD?
HOW MANY TRANSGENDER TEENAGEERS WILL BE STABBED IN THE STREETS
HOW MANY TRANSGENDER WILL COMMIT SUICIDE SEEING THEY HAVE NO PLACE IN SOCIETY, NOT EVEN THE GLBt?”
IT’S THE MESSAGE!
I am careful not to attack anyone for their opinion, but will do so when they, like Barney Frank and Joe Solmonese, use their position or authority to take away from others their right to safety and right to peaceful existence.
You may not get it, or care, but you can accept in some part the fate of those who you mock!
