I'm very proud to announce that starting next week we'll have a new contributor to the Bilerico Project. Simon Aronoff will be joining the Bilerico family. Simon has nearly a decade of public interest communications expertise and a deep commitment to advancing lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality.
Most recently, he served as a special projects consultant for Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG National) helping the organization to launch and publicize its new, multi-year Straight for Equality program. Prior to his consultant work, Simon served as the Deputy Director of the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) where he directed the organization's programs and communications. Currently he is the Vice President of Renna Communications.
(He's really cute and smart too. Meeting him at Creating Change was a highlight of my trip.)

I've worked with Simon on various occasions and I have found him to be a wonderful person to work with. He will make a fine addition to TBP.

there are very few people in the world I respect as much as Simon - from the moment I met him when he was at Fenton communications and now as my business associate, co-worker and friend. He is incredibly devoted to the community and as Bil so rightly pointed out cute and smart, too.
