Mourning in America

Today I am wearing a large black armband for my beloved Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

I sat Shiva all night after their loss to U Conn.

My eyes are downcast. I am despondent.

No more Epiphanies. No more joie de C. Viv.

Join me in demanding that Pat Summit leave the race.

And why does no one demand that George Bush leave?

Another time, now I must resume my mourning in America.

You are such a dyke, mourning over basketball. I LOVE IT!

agreed, Pat Summit should leave.Now. immediately.

or get a girlfriend finally.

but UConn? sorry. UConn rules.

Oohhh!! I am so excited to see you are a fan of my alma mater it makes me wish I was a better lesbian and paid attention to basketball so I could mourn with you.

I hope you feel better soon, Kate!

Kate, babe, I watched that game, too. I can't stand Gene-O and I love the Scarlet Knights. But we gotta say what's true: the SK women LOST that game and UCONN won it. I was thrilled with their play in the first half and crushed as they made error after error in the second half. Ugh. I SO wanted them to make it to the Final Four. The weird thing about Rutgers: the team has never made it to the Final Four, or I think I saw that whiz by on my TeeVee screen. But next year, it will be different!
