I love having a local blog again. It's time to start giving away the local freebies! *grins*

This time around I have two pairs of tickets to Spotlight 2008: One Night, One Stage, One Reason at Clowes Memorial Hall on April 21 at 7:30pm. This year's Spotlight ensemble will include performances by Dance Kaleidoscope, Phoenix Theatre, Kenyetta' Dance Company, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, Indianapolis Men's Chorus, Brenda Williams, Asia LaBouche, Rodnie Bryant, the Butler Ballet and the Indianapolis Children's Choir.

I'll choose two commenters at random to win the tickets. Contest ends Wednesday, April 16th at midnight. Good luck!

Luv me some Spotlight! This is by far the biggest bang for your buck in Indy. If you don't win tickets, go anyway. You will be donating to an excellent cause and you will have a wonderful, wonderful evening.

Bil,

I already have a pait of tickets, but should I win your giveaway, I'll donate them to someone who receives HIV/Aids services who cannot afford to buy them. That way, all of us win.

I'd love to go. I just actually found out that I'll be in town for the event, which makes me very happy!

I would love a pair of tix!

Five million people in this country suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease. During the next administration, the number will skyrocket due to the aging baby boomer population.

We need to ask our candidates what they’re going to do about it before it bankrupts Medicare and Medicaid. Indiana voters must ask that question now.

@Lori and Kaj - Congratulations! You two are the winners! You can pick up your tickets at the box office. Please e-mail me off list with your "real" names so I can reserve them for you!

Thanks for trying everyone!
