I'm going to blow everyone's mind by starting the thread with this prediction: Seacrest would destroy Beckham.

While Becks may be in better shape (I mean, have you SEEN that underwear ad??) and an athlete, Seacrest would just drug him with Paula Abdul's meds and win the day.

Plus, Seacrest can take lots of punishment... He listens to the Idol kids sing every week.

Of course, I would be there to nurse Beckham back to health because I'm just a good person like that... :)

These contenders are poorly matched ... Beckham is an actual athlete, and Seacrest is a dead man walking.

At least give Seacrest some type of weapon ... a hair dryer or a curling iron, maybe?

Seacrest would at least have a flat iron... And maybe industrial strength teeth whitener to splash in Beckham's eyes...

It's not a fair match. Seacrest is a zombie. It's an automatic disqualification. (Seriously - watch his eyes sometime. It's creepy.)

On second thought, I expect they are both closet cases, and after 45 seconds of fake wrestling, they would begin ripping each other's clothes off and start making love in earnest.

... And my bet is that Beckham would come out on top ... so to speak ...

I dunno . . . Beckham has to put up with Posh Spice, so that's got to count for something. But Seacrest has to put up with Simon Cowell. I think Ryan would come out the winner (although we all know Beckham would be on top), because Seacrest has to put up with all that ghetto mess trying to get on Idol. I'm sure he's picked up some ninja moves along the way, if only out of self defense.

I vote with AJ on this one... they'd just start to have at it...
