I'm not a very good photographer, but I was inspired by Sara's photography post. After temperatures dropped below freezing twice this week, Spring has officially arrived in Indiana.
Jerame's favorite after the jump. (I did a decent job with the camera this time!)
I really tried hard to get a good picture of the Magnolia tree. This was the best that I could do. It was the Magnolia tree I wanted to photograph to start with!

You're so lucky you have an actual Spring. We go from hot to inferno in a matter of days in Phoenix. Man, I gotta get back to the beach!

I'm so happy that I was finally able to take a damn picture with my digital camera. Every pic I've taken comes out shaky and blurry. Jerame didn't believe I'd really taken these pictures until I showed him the little blue and white flowers! :)

Beautiful shots, being technically challenged I would like to solicit advice. I have an HP Media Center PC that I bought in the States and brought with me to Thailand. I am aware that "disks" to store pictures are now obsolete and I have the ports for the little flash thingies they use now. Is there any way I can go to the store and not look particularly stupid when I ask to be shown how to use the camera, download a picture into an email.
I have considered wearing knee pads and crawling up to the counter for help, but will I just be sold the most expensive thing they are trying to flog out of their store at the moment. There are LOTS of electronics in Thailand so availability is not the issue. If you don't know what you want when you walk in you are dealing with language issues here that are not to be believed. Any useful website you can recommend?

Oh, Robert. I have no idea.
Seriously, this is the first time in the almost year and a half of having the camera that I've had a shot come out well. It's why I never take pics when reporting - I always have Jerame or someone else take the pics so they're actually usable!
And technologically? Jerame has had to show me how to get pics off the camera a million and one times. I have no idea.
Try e-mailing Jerame or Sara Whitman. Jerame is super-tech-geek and Sara is super-great-photographer!

But will they laugh at me for not knowing the difference between a gigglewatt and a pixelpoop?
