No, not an official stamp from the Postal Service. Of course, the United States government wouldn't be that cool...
California queer artist Perry Hoffman has designed this stamp to celebrate the California marriage ruling. He used online postage generator zazzle.com to produce his design. The stamps are legal US postage and 50% of sales will be donated to Equality California.
His first attempt was rejected by the Postal Service, but this version sailed through. The original design was rejected for:
"Incorporates material the primary purpose of which is to advocate or protest any particular religious, social, political, legal or moral agenda of any person or entity."
You can see the rejected version and purchase information after the jump.

These are cute stamps! I think I'll order some to put on my wedding announcements. :)
Flippin cute. Like a puppy or a kitten.
Here is the exact direct link, for anyone who wants to buy a sheet or two:
$15.05 for sheet of 20 + 2.99 shipping = $18.04
They couldn't just, oh, mail them to you for forty two cents? That is over ninety cents for forty two cents of value.
What would Suzi Orman do?
Per sheet I see $3.32 going to Equality California. Better for the cause to send a check, better for fashion to buy the stamp.
Hmmmmm,
Why do I suddenly feel like Patrick Swayze in "To Wong Foo?"
OK, I'll take the stamp
It had completely slipped my mind that Swayze is presently undergoing chemo. He WAS great in "To Wong Fu," but I do not wish to appear insensitive to his current struggle.
Thanks A.J.Lopp - I've updated the post to include the link to purchase the stamps. As I said above, neglecting to include the link was a really stupid mistake on my part!
Am I the only one who's kinda glad the 1st design didn't make the cut? I like the 2nd one much better!
I agree, Bil. The first design is very cluttered. The second gets the message across simply and cleanly. Very well done.
