Just as we've come to accept that Larry Craig is not running for reelection, the good folks in Idaho come up with more news. Nick Langewis at PageOneQ wrote about a right winger in Idaho runing for office advocating separate bathrooms for gay teenagers.
State House candidate: Separate bathrooms for gay kids
A Republican seeking a state House seat in the land of Larry Craig advocates segregation based on sexual orientation.
Retired Idahoan Walt Bayes, 70, says in campaign literature that it is "absolutely wrong to force any student to share the same bathrooms and showers with homosexual teachers or students."
"I don't really have an answer for it," the Wilder resident told the Idaho Press-Tribune Saturday, "but we're going to have to do something if there's going to be a considerable number of our people who are going to [be gay]."

Well, let's hope the "gay" bathrooms are just faaaaabulous, darlings! (And the "others" are cramped and smell of pee). :-D

I loved reading the link. I think goofy gramps has eaten too many wormy potaters. In as much as he has failed at every elective office he has attempted to obtain (Including, by all appearances his hunger strike over Roe) he is what I would call an excellent republican candidate. I think Bush should give a speech supporting him and denouncing same sex showering in public schools.
I wrote my Republican Ladies and said please, if you have any influence, keep the president talking. His nation needs him! Odd, they never respond to remarks like that!

Yeah, but did he honor Hitler's 119th birthday? I didn't think so.

Separate bathrooms! That'd be great at most of the places I've worked - it'd just be for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
