On Gays-
All hurricanes are acts of God, because God controls the heavens. I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God, and they were recipients of the judgment of God for that.

The newspaper carried the story in our local area, that was not carried nationally, that there was to be a homosexual parade there on the Monday that the Katrina came. And the promise of that parade was that it would was going to reach a level of sexuality never demonstrated before in any of the other gay pride parades.

... I believe that the Hurricane Katrina was, in fact, the judgment of God against the city of New Orleans.

On Harry Potter-
As millions of people anticipate the release of the latest Harry Potter book and film, we're reminded once again of Satan's ongoing attempt to deceive and destroy. The whole purpose of the Potter books is to desensitize readers and introduce them to the occult.

On Islam-
Islam in general -- those who live by the Koran have a scriptural mandate to kill Christians and Jews.

On Jews and the Holocaust-
God says in Jeremiah 16: 'Behold, I will bring them the Jewish people again unto their land that I gave to their fathers. ... Behold, I will send for many fishers, and after will I send for many hunters. And they the hunters shall hunt them.' That would be the Jews. ... Then God sent a hunter. A hunter is someone who comes with a gun and he forces you. Hitler was a hunter.

On Catholics-
This is the Great Whore of Revelation...

Well, at least Hagee is an equal opportunity hater.

I don't even know where to begin with this. There is just so much crazy fundie, pandering, flip-flopping dirt to dig into!

First, the fact that McCain, who decried people like Hagee as "Agents of Intolerance" in the past, sought his endorsement in the first place is disgusting. His need to kiss up to the religious right to win his party's nomination was the most important thing to him.

One has to wonder what kind of inept campaign McCain is running that they couldn't even do a basic online search and find Hagee's rantings. Or perhaps they didn't care.

Then to stand by the endorsement for months, after the media slowly began to report on Hagee, showed his desperation to connect and "rebrand" himself as a champion of the conservative movement. He even went on a photo-op trip to New Orleans when Hagee was on the radio confirming he thought God had wiped it out because of the gays.

And now we have McCain breaking up with Hagee but only after anti-Semitic remarks surface. I guess the gay/Catholic/Islamic/Kids Book-hating was okay.

What a strong moral compass McCain has. It looks like the "Straight-Talk Express" has derailed.
