FlProFFlogo.pngThe Florida Professional Firefighters are a State Association chartered by the International Association of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO-CLC. They comprised of 140 local affiliates and councils, with a membership of 22,500 Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services Personnel, working in 175 departments within the various state, county, municipal, and special district governments of Florida.

The FPF joins the League of Women Voters, Florida CFO Alex Sink, Senator Barack Obama, and many other organizations that are working to defeat Amendment 2 in November.

There's more Amendment 2 news as well...

The blog community has caught the author of Amendment 2, Mat Staver, encouraging serious voter fraud. Mr. Staver actually tells people to sign the "marriage" petition more than once:

Even if someone has already signed it, it doesn't matter. They can sign it again.

Click here to read about it and watch the video. It should be no surprise that the opposition is resorting to dirty tricks.

Make sure to get involved in this important effort to defeat the amendment that would roll-back domestic partnership benefits and other important benefits!
