About a year ago, Glenn Murphy, then-president of the Young Republicans National Federation and chairman of the Clark County Republican Party was accused of giving another young Republican a blow job while the latter was passed out after a party three weeks into his tenure.
Murphy's defense was consent. Then he apologized for the whole thing. Then his lawyer tried to "come to an understanding" with the victim.
Well, Glenn Murphy pled guilty last week to criminal deviate conduct. He could get up to two years:
The former chairman of the Clark County Republican Party pleaded guilty today to criminal deviate conduct as part of an agreement that could result in two years behind bars.
Glenn Murphy Jr. was arrested after authorities said he performed oral sex on a sleeping man following a July 28 party at a home in Jeffersonville. The plea agreement calls for a six-year sentence, with four years suspended.
Jennifer Wagner got a mention for breaking the story on her blog. Kudos!

One of the major reasons he pled guilty was because the prosecution found about a half dozen other men he'd molested while they were sleeping.
Murphy was a proponent of our state's marriage amendment and spoke out often against LGBT rights.

God, what a twisted hypocritical person. I have known others and avoided them. A "Young republican" is anyone 18-40. An honest GLBT person is honest with themselves and not a sexual opportunist.

Looks like the Republicans are blowing it again, as usual in Clark County. Wonder if Mike Sodrel was on the receiving end?
