They simply won't bother to rationalize for McCain. They'll redouble their efforts to slime and smear Barack Obama. For a good example, local gay GOP attorney Gary Welsh has been totally obsessed reporting every absurd rumor out on the Internet against Obama.
Most other LCR's will sniff haughtily with their tired old dodge: "well, I'm not a single issue voter!"
