Let's see, aged military "hero" vs modern young breath of fresh air.
Participant in our present problems (though labeled a republican renegade) vs an immediate opposer of a war he could do nothing to prevent.

Opportunities for education, health care, a smaller global "footprint" which has been part of our problem (can anyone tell me why we need any bases in Japan except for recreational rapists?)
